Mriya International Film Festival returns to Brussels on 7–9 May 2026 for its fourth edition.
MIFF was created as a space where cinema brings people together — across cultures, languages, and experiences. Over the years, the festival has grown into a small but vibrant meeting point for filmmakers, audiences, and dreamers who believe that films can help us see the world, and each other, a little differently.
This year, the atmosphere of the program is shaped less by bright, obvious happiness and more by nostalgia and tenderness. The films we selected speak quietly about everyday life — about memory, longing, small encounters, and the fragile beauty of ordinary moments.
At MIFF, we believe that inspiration and happiness are rarely loud or spectacular. More often, they hide in the mundane: in familiar streets, warm kitchen lights, late-night conversations, or a simple journey home.
Through fiction and documentary cinema, the festival invites audiences to slow down, look closer, and rediscover these subtle emotions together.
Join us in Brussels to watch, reflect, and dream.
